NZBMS Accounts Clerk (6 month contract)

We are on the hunt for our next Accounts Clerk. Is that you?

NZBMS is the overseas mission organisation for the Baptist Churches of New Zealand. It is comprised of four entities (Tranzsend, Banzaid, Marketplacers, Mission World) which together serve the churches in New Zealand and communities in South, East and South East Asia.

In this full time Auckland-based role, you will work closely with NZBMS’s Finance Manager to manage all financial requirements of NZBMS, working to ‘best practice’ standards for systems and processes. This includes a range of activity such as data entry, payments and overseas remittances.

You will be technologically savvy, preferably with a knowledge of Xero. Experience in a financial role is preferred but training will be given. You will preferably have some understanding of not-for-profit organisations and the global mission scene. You are a team player, eager to learn, with a great sense of humour!
