John and Susan remain in New Zealand for the moment as they continue to support their son and daughter-in-law through Hope's illness. Both spend time with the family helping with the running of the household and John continues to work as he can. At the time of writing, Hope is doing well although recent weeks have been upand- down physically and emotionally for everyone. Please continue to remember them all as they do life through this pain.
John spent four weeks back in Asia mid-year, following up on business activities in three countries. He is grateful for competent and reliable staff who have been able to manage well. He was also able to guide a number of other groups on administrative and compliance concerns and to sit with and mentor people keen to talk through doing business God's way.
In many of these communities there is so much need. In John and Susan's words, there are "opportunities that need to be taken up. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send more labourers."
