1. John and Susan (S. Asia) – John left on Friday 26 August for 7 weeks in Asia to continue some work and reconnect with the businesses. Pray for him as he travels and for Susan back in New Zealand as she continues to support the family.
2. Hawkes Bay Missions Expo – Saturday 3 September from 9am-9pm at Village Baptist Church. Pray for this event which involves all the MISSION WORLD partners and more. Activities include seminars, fun, food, prayer music and reflection. Pray that the churches and people of the Hawkes Bay will be blessed.
3. Peter and Lynley (S.E. Asia) – Pray for their friend Noon who is persisting in a relationship which is not helping her grow in faith, and for Dave, a young American hoping to work in the High School.
4. Paul and Sarah (S. Asia) – Pray for the family as they settle in a new home and community and begin to explore business opportunities.
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
