BEULAH – BOOKS AND CONFERENCES Print E-mail
Monday, 01 August 2011 00:00

After seven years in the pipeline, Beulah’s latest book The People Paul Admired: The Leaders of the New Testament House Churches has been published. It was launched in Auckland on Sunday 10 July. This is an engaging and creative book of character studies, written in narrative, of the leaders of house churches of the time. It outlines the societal challenges they faced but also highlights the way in which the groups broke down barriers such as slave and master, gender roles and economic expectations. The book will be launched in North America in early August while Beulah is there.

From 1 August, Beulah will be attending an international conference on how to work against the abuse of women. She has the privilege of taking with her two of the women she knows from SAIACS and giving them this international experience to assist in their roles in supporting and advocating for women.

Once back in South Asia, Beulah’s coaching, teaching and writing roles continue, culminating for the month at a writer’s course in the NE of the country.
