Bruce and Karen – on home assignment |

Bruce and Karen’s big news is that their long awaited visa/temporary resident’s application has been approved. This is very significant in terms of living in their city long term. This means, however, that they now will need to shorten their home assignment.
Prior to leaving at the end of March Karen was encouraged by the number of Bibles being given out during Southern Cross Bible distribution and also that they had found two young women to visit the women Karen usually visits in prison. They have handed over their responsibilities at Oasis International Church, which has been a source of friendship and blessing over the past three years, and plan to attend a Chinese church on their return.
Bruce will take up the role of pastoral care worker with Hope Medical Group, working towards setting up Workplace Support.
