Mark and Viv - heading back soon |

 Mark and Viv have been on extended study leave: Viv is completing her second year of spiritual growth formation training and Mark is writing a draft of his thesis while working part-time. At the end of last year, he spent time collecting traditional sayings in the village. Christina did half a year of study in Thailand, boarding with a Thai/American family and is now doing mostly level 3 papers through NZ correspondence school. Rochelle has settled well into home schooling. David did well in his Chemistry Bridging Course and has started lectures for Health Science at Otago University. They have all enjoyed reconnecting with friends and walking in New Zealand's stunning scenery.
In May, they will be completing their home assignment with tranzsend and look forward to returning to Chiang Mai early July. Mark will continue teaching literacy and linguistics at Payap University, while Viv will pick up her role of Spiritual Life and Prayer co-ordinator for the 200+ adults in Mainland Southeast Asia’s Summer Institute of Linguistics group. The girls will return to school and David will remain in NZ to study.
