Pip – moving to a new location - South Asia |

 Pip is coming to end of her full time language learning and will be moving to a nearby city at the end of April, subject to the provision of a visa. She is thankful for the language learning, what she has learnt about herself and her relationship with God, and for the many friends she has made, both Western and local.
Her first year in the new location will be based in the community. She will be working with a local woman and learning from her about the community and speaking to women who are interested in leaving the trade and helping them to do that.
She says, “One of the things God has been challenging me about over the past year has been how much of my identity is tied up in what I do and what I have. So I have made a commitment to downward mobility. Practically what this means is that I will seek to live in a more simplistic way. Finding my identity not in what I have, or what I do, but rather finding my identity as a loved child of God.”
