Paul and Sarah are enjoying language learning. They say that Bangla is a beautiful language and often makes more sense than English. They’ve covered basic grammar, vocabulary and have learned to write the script. They need more practice so they can improve their listening and speed thinking skills.
They are finding it strange being in a place of desperate need and just hiding away learning language. This sometimes creates a feeling of isolation and lack of purpose but they are reminding themselves that learning Bangla is one of the best ways to show love to the Bengali people and that this investment will be a blessing to others in the future.
While spending holiday time with friends they were encouraged to seek out activities to keep them in a good headspace so Paul has joined a social touch-rugby team and Sarah has started running at a women’s gym.
