 Pat recently visited the area where Global Hope International Network is hoping to facilitate the building of a school. For various reasons they were not able to locate the previous paperwork they needed, and subsequent conversations indicate that the way forward may not be straightforward. Meanwhile, they have begun to help the community pipe water from a mountain spring 1.6km up the valley. This entails digging a trench using a pick and a shovel in stony soil 1m deep and 1.6 km long. Pat is impressed by the commitment of this community to help their families benefit from an accessible source of clean water.
