It’s Christmas, the very first one. An angel appears to tell Zechariah that there is hope, he will have a son. Another angel tells Mary that she is blessed and to become the mother of the long awaited Saviour. It is an angel who tells Joseph to be at peace. Shepherds are told by an angel that great joy is to come for all people. It is then an angel who arouses Joseph from sleep with news of impending danger, and again who advises him that safety has returned.

Angel visitations heralded in, and supported, the greatest event of all time. It was they who carried the messages of hope, peace, joy and love, of complete transformation to the status quo.

And we at tranzsend invite you to be an angel, a bearer of good news to those who have not heard. With a major focus in the Advent and Christmas season, we provide an opportunity for the people of New Zealand Baptist Churches to donate money to support those who have gone to other places to share the hope, peace, joy and love that the birth of Jesus brought into our world.
