1.      The BBCF (Bangladesh Baptist Christian Fellowship) has a crisis in the Brahmanbaria Hospital (originally set up by NZ Baptists).  Their two doctors, husband and wife, have recently left. They were pediatrics and gynaecology specialists.  While they are recruiting for permanent replacement doctors, the BBCF has made an urgent request for short term locums.  Anything from 3 – 6 months or longer would be good.  If there could be a steady stream of doctors wanting to do this then it would be helpful.

2.      Opportunities exist in Kalasin, Thailand, for people to work alongside the tranzsend team, by teaching in the local high schools.  These are partially paid teaching positions for trained teachers who have a degree.  The greatest needs are for Science, English and I.T. teachers, but teachers in other disciplines are also required. The school year begins in mid May.  These are wonderful opportunities for teachers, young or old, to have a positive influence in this strongly Buddhist nation.
